YES, IT’S OUT! This is to inform you that the 2023 JAMB Cut-Off Mark for Universities is 140!
Accordingly, universities are at liberty to decide individual cut-off marks but no university will be allowed to admit any candidate who scores below the 140 cut-off marks. This was disclosed by the JAMB registrar, Prof.Ishaq Oloyede, during the 2023 policy meeting ongoing in Abuja. For instance, the University of Jos proposed 180 as cut-off mark for admissions; the University of Ibadan proposed 200; University of Benin proposed 200; the University of Lagos proposed 200; and the Federal University of Technology proposed 180, among others. For the polytechnics, the minimum benchmark score was 100 for admissions, while Colleges of Education adopted the benchmark of 100 for admissions. In conclusion, the JAMB 2023 cut-off marks play a significant role in determining your eligibility for university admission in Nigeria. While the minimum cut-off mark for 2023 is 140, some schools are allowed to increase their cut-off marks. So make sure you know the exact cut-off mark for your individual school.
